DAY 131 : 5 JUN 08

So yesterday I had every intention to post more but my stomach was giving me the opposite issue that it usually does. If you know me that well then you know what I am talking about. I forgot to mention that while in Qatar and we stopped at a local restaurant and ate their food. Anyway I think that messed my system up as I was feeling the effects yesterday. So today I still got up after little sleep last night, and watched most of the game. Once I saw that puck go in off of Fluery’s butt I turned off the TV and went and got a shower. I probably should not have but I knew they were done. I heard the last few seconds were nuts after they scored to make it 3 to 2. We have a young team though so I am not worried as I feel they will make it back to the finals again at least once more. The series did cost me some dough though as I had a friendly wager with a Detroit native. I had to do it to represent my team and city.

Starting this Saturday I am officially into sending stuff home mode. I do not need nor want anything else as all of you have been more than generous since I have been here. My room is already packed so I need to start the winding down process. I guess that’s about it for today. I am going to try to get a good nights sleep tonight. I got a few more pictures from a friends camera to post from Qatar tomorrow. Also we are giving away a signed Tiger Woods driver tomorrow on the sports show. It should be our best show yet so I am sure I will go over that tomorrow afterwards. Have a good day.
