DAY 115: 20 MAY 08

Well today was the typical anchor and then do the radio show. I did my laundry finally today after almost 2 weeks which is the only sad note of the day. I talked with a contact who has to know about those who pass here as part of her job encompasses that so she said there will be a fallen comrade ceremony sometime soon. 2 dead and 2 ‘not doing so good’. Not exactly what you want to hear when you go to do laundry but I still walk in this world and can only thank God for that. Anyway yesterday I got to meet and greet the Minnesota Vikings Cheerleaders on the radio show around 1 PM and then shot some video at their show last night. You can see the pictures below and the video of them during the newscast that I anchor. I have to say it was a fun day but I have truly come to appreciate the intangibles that my Michelle has. Yeah hot chicks with killer bodies are nice but there is so much more to life. Michelle is beautiful to me in more ways than physical. I know one of my friends from college has yet to realize this type of beauty…. Anyway I guess that’s about it. I leave for Qatar on Monday I think and am very much looking forward to that. Should be a good time. O I almost forgot to mention I am in talks with my old internship supervisor from California to come out and shoot a documentary. I have to call him tonight to work out the details. Once things are confirmed I will let yinz know all about it. Have a great day and enjoy the pics and newscast below.
