DAY 104: 9 MAY 08
Well I had a good day at work and also a great sports show. I am up too late as the Pens game starts in like 4 hours. You can bet your last dollar I will be up and watching it though. I have off tomorrow so I can sleep all day if I like. Anyway today I saw that Afghan man at the chow hall and talk with his supervisor. He was smiling and seemed in a better mood today. I have decided I am going to give him my running shoes. They are getting beat up because of all the walking, especially on gravel I do. I am either going to order a new pair off of the internet or get some when I go to Qatar at the end of the month. Either way this man will get my shoes and maybe give them to his son. His smile today was as satisfying to me as piercing was his frown. Anyway that’s about it for today. LETS GO PENS! FLYER SCUM!

Hey Rob I got a better idea for you, give the man a new pair of shoes and buy yourself a new pair too. Blessed is a cheerful giver. When you see the mans face when you give him a new pair of shoes will be one you will never forget and worth more money than you will ever spend for them Im sure. Its amazing what a simple smile can do for you. I love you Rob, your the best.
Hi Robbie... This is Shelley..I am trying to send you a note on your Dad's computer since mine at work refuses to cooperate with me. Hope all is well. Your Gramma and Pap Joswiak came over yesterday for mother's day. We had a very nice visit. Your dad took your Pap up to the garage to see all the updates that he has been doing. My father and mother came over yesterday also. My dad you know had 2 strokes in February and he is doing much better. He still can not drive however,my mom get nervous driving far. Anyhow, this is just a little note to tell you what has been going on here. You take care of yourself and I will keep you in my prayers daily.. God Bless you Robbie....Shelley
