DAY 102: 7 MAY 08
Been and up and down week. Played too much Madden 08 on playstation tonight. Will post tomorrow as I want to be composed for tomorrow's session. I will leave you guys with this: God sent me here to test, train, and remind me of my faith in him!
dear son life is full of trials but god will not give us more than we can bare, there are a life time of lessons we must learn, it is very sad that men cannot live in peace. and love one another. I think George bush ought to send his two daughters over to baghdad for a wile and take chelsea Clinton with them. Just remember george bush is a compulsive liar as well as bill Clinton and have caused the deaths of many innocent people. America is so polluted from the top all the way down , but you must stand for right always trust in god and he will see you Thu with my love and concern your dad
Hi Robbie , Im so sorry you are having some blue days....just remenber the blue days make you more aware of the good days when they come, if we did not go thru the blue ones we could not truly appreicate the good ones, and you will have many of really good days coming ahead, it will all be okay. I love your closing statement for today, God is with you and your faith will grow for sure in times like these, its all in the the plan. Talk to Robin today, sounds good and working with that same patient now for 6 months which is really a postive step in the right direction, we just have to keep praying for our family and trust Gods word. Rose called me tonite and asked about you and sends her love and prayers, I have many that call me and say you are in there prayers, we have so much to be thankful for Robbie.
I will close with this verse which is really good, Matthew 7:7-12 .....Whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets. (The Golden Rule) I love you... your mom xoxoxoxo
Hi Rob, Everyone gets down days! That's ok. When I get them, I tell myself, "Jayne, It's only temporary." God is with each one of us. Everyday can not be "perfect". Read Deuteronomy 31:6. "Be Strong! Be courageous! Do not be afraid....For the Lord your God will bw with you. He will neither fail you nor forsake you." He with you on the up days as well as the down days. Daryl & I are great. We are going to a wedding next weekend. Adam is coming up on Mother's Day. I'm not sure what andy is doing. Hey if you find any decorative wall hangins with birds, let me know. Love ya, Jayne
Exicting to see Pens and Flyers in a an All-Penn Lord Stanley playoff conference final series. Dallas (my former dwelling area) is with Detroit on the other side. Good action, including the multi-OT game the other nite.
Sounds like you are stressed at times there, Rob, and I hate to see it. There's no way around it, though, considering what you and the other 150,000 militarists are assigned to do over there.
I don't include Civilians, because it's their CHOICE to be there.
Saw on my new DirecTV the other day as PSU played it's spring football game. The Big 10 Network has lots of good info on your Nittany Lions. Seems the women's soccer won their umpteenth conference title and the women's volleyball team got a championship, too.
MSU is suffering through a rare losing baseball season and four Bulldogs have been arrested since the Liberty Bowl title game.
Fall might be rough in Mississippi State land.
Spurs, here, are down 2-0 but hosting upstart New Orleans in back-to-back games starting tonight. Going for 5th NBA title in 10 years. Got a good look at a potential newspaper job here, so I hope that pans out. Until then, I am scanning tickets at the front gate for the Double-A San Antonio Missions, plus spending time setting up the new house.
